I think an act of love that really affected me was probably the first time I got sick in college. I decided to go to LMU because of the location I was close to, my hometown. So when I told them, my parents, that I was sick, they drove over, brought me some medicine, brought me food and stuff. And so I really appreciated that. It was also the first time seeing them in a while since I went off to college. I think during that time I realized the importance of family and being close to them in a sense that they could be able to show up in a time where I needed them to be and just help me out whenever. So that was something I really appreciated probably the first time I appreciated my parents being away from them for the first time. So that's really how an act of love... Though small, it really impacted me greatly.
